Professional Indemnity Insurance
The Professional Indemnity Insurance with a Europe-wide cover for the lawyers is in force with Allianz Versicherungs-Aktiengesellschaft, Königinstraße 28, D-80802 Munich. The minimum requirement of indemnity insurance of FF FinanzRecht Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft amounts up to EUR 2,500,000.00.

The indemnity insurance covers activities within member states of the EU and thus complies with sec. 51 German Federal Regulations for Attorneys at Law.


Terms & Conditions:
All client contracts closed with FF FinanzRecht Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH do apply without any exception German Law. As applicable, Munich is the agreed jurisdiction.


Professional regulations for solicitors, solicitor advocats and barristers/attorneys’ at law:
Pursuant to the German Telemedia Act, we are also obligated to cite the main laws and standards governing our profession. These are:

  • the German Federal Regulations for Attorneys (Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung, BRAO)
  • the Rules of Professional Practice (Berufsordnung, BORA)
  • the Regulations governing Certified Attorneys’ at Law(Fachanwaltsordnung, FAO)
  • the Act governing the Fees of Attorneys' at Law (Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz, RVG)
  • the Act relating to the Practice of European Attorneys at Law in Germany (EuRAG)

These laws and regulations can be found on the website of the Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer (German Federal Chamber of Attorneys) under “Informationspflichten gemäß § 5 TMG", which sets out the duties of disclosure pursuant to Article 5 of the Telemedia Act.


Avoidance of conflicts of interest:
The legal advice may not be given, if a solicitor is aware of a conflict of interests according to sec 43a subsec. 4 BRAO. Therefore before taking up a mandate, we conduct a due diligence and – if necessary – inform the client accordingly thus avoiding any conflict of interests.


The out-of-court mediation (ombudsman-procedure):
According to sec 73 subsec. 2 No. 3 in connection with sec 73 subsec. 5 BRAO there is a Ombudsman procedure for issues arising between solicitor and client. A settlement can be applied for with the local Bar Association Munich or with the federal Bar Association according to sec. 191f BRAO (www.brak.de) or per E-Mail: schlichtungsstelle@brak.de.
